Really good for snowy days

These are very good, my husband wears them. They are waterproof up till now but haven't worn them in a really big downpour. The only problem is that there is a bit of stiching on the inside of the boots that rub on one side. No matter what we have tried, thick socks hiking socks, it still rubs. But apart from that great boots.

I was extremely happy with my shoes but after 8 months, the glue keeping the sole and the shoe had gone and the shoes were not waterproof.
When I bought my shoes to the shop the argument of the customer service was that the shoe was made to be used 1-2 days of walk per month and the guarantee could not be triggered.
Most certainly, I will not buy Quechua hiking boots in the future

These are my second pair so they have served me well for the time they were able. 1st time I bought them I didn't walk or do outdoor stuff nearly as much so they lasted around a year before falling apart and letting water in.

This time they only lasted me about 6 months with me doing a couple of days manual outdoor work a week and additional odd country walks in between.

As to the positives they are very comfortable while they are still in serviceable condition. These are the only pair of shoes/boots I can recall not having had to buy additional insoles for due to lack of comfort. These ones are good from the getgo.

They keep the water out well until the cracks start to show (literally) at the creases where you walk. This is where they show their true colours as a low price point product. You cannot expect much more though.

I felt I had only bought them a few weeks ago (6 months ish) and they were on their way out.

Historically I have bought cheap shoes knowing full well they won't last too long. This was not much of an issue when I was not using them regularly. Now that I am much more enthused about my outdoors activities, and my demands having increased to suit, I have chosen to go for some more expensive ones leaving the budget bin behind.

So to summarize good while they last but do not expect that to be long. I believe they are as good as you could expect in this price range.

I bought these in Nov 21 and they were great. The most comfortable boots I’ve ever had. However after 12 months of just dog walking in wet grass and light trails they’ve both started to leak.
I noticed on the left boot the upper is separating from the sole at the base of the big toe and the right one at the base of the little toe. This has caused them to let water in. On the strength of my initial review my brother bought the same boots. His have already gone back for a refund and he’s bought another pair hoping these stay intact.
I’ve still got the receipt so will be taking mine back in a few days. Unless the design has changed I’ll stick with a refund and look elsewhere.
I love Decathlon’s gear and have a lot of clothing and accessories so disappointed these have failed on me.
Shame as they’re such a great boot in terms of comfort.

It was light and safe to use.
